    - Advisor to the supreme leader of Iran, Brigadier General Hussein Dhaqan, on Sunday accused Saudi Arabia of "inciting" against Tehran in Basra to burn its consulate there, stressing that there is a "great strife" led by America, Israel and Saudi Arabia in the region.
"I want to tell you more transparently," he said. "Saudi Arabia wants to say, 'If you want a government, An Iraqi close to Iran, this will be the same as Basra. "
"There is a big sedition led by America, Israel and Saudi Arabia in the region. They believe that imposing sanctions on Iran can be effective and force us to negotiate as they claim, so America started to impose economic pressure," Dahqan said. In the whole region, and they know that we have strong relations with Iraq, so they want to create a confrontation between the peoples of the two countries, during the past months broadcast a lot of rumors provoked.
And whether the demonstrators who burned the consulate of his country represent Basra? "No, no, not so, people in Basra are under economic pressure, they say they lack water, electricity and services, they have problems, they talk to their government and protest, but there is a group connected abroad," he said.
