(Baghdad: al-Furat News) The leader of the coalition of the lawmaker Raed Fahmi, said that "the alliance of reform and reconstruction has not resolved its position from any presidential candidate yet."
Fahmi told the {Euphrates News} that "the coalition did not resolve its position with any candidate for the presidency and better if the Kurdish forces agreed on a specific candidate," pointing out that we "with the Kurdish consensus on one of the candidates."
"It is difficult to resolve the presidential candidate and naming the President of the Republic will resolve the largest bloc," noting that "our alliance will not vote for a particular candidate for the presidency of the Republic and dialogues are now underway on the consensus on a personality gathered by the political forces."
Fahmi added, "We will not enter into deals with the nomination for the presidency of the Republic for the candidate of the largest bloc," asserting "we did not officially receive the candidates of the Kurdistan Democratic Party for the post and we will support the most compatible candidate among the Kurds."
The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan officially nominated Barham Ahmed Saleh for the post of President of the Republic and nominated the former MP for the Kurdistan Change Movement Sardar Abdullah himself to take over the post, as announced the MP of the Islamic Group, Salim Shoshkai, for his candidacy for the presidency, also announced the Kurdish professor Fili, Kamal Aziz Mohammed Qitouli, his candidacy for the post.
The Iraqi ambassador to the Vatican, Omar al-Barzanji, a Kurd, was nominated for the post.
And increased the list of candidates for the presidency of the Kurdish parties from another candidate, MP Sarwa Abdul Wahid for the new generation movement, but the Kurdistan Democratic Party led by Massoud Barzani did not announce his candidate to this moment, but he regretted his intention to nominate a candidate.
