Announced the alliance victory, on Tuesday, not to support any candidate for the presidency of the Republic during the parliament session, noting that the coalition granted free voting to its members.
The MP for the alliance Nada Shaker Jawdat said in a statement to the information that "the mass did not adopt a certain figure for the presidency of the Republic," noting that "the matter will leave the MP in the freedom to choose a personality for this position."
"The Kurdish political blocs are still insisting on the nomination of several people to the presidency of the Republic despite negotiations."
It is noteworthy that the two main Kurdish parties have failed to agree on the submission of one candidate for the post of President of the Republic
