"This operation to secure the Syrian-Iraqi border, 200 kilometers from the north of the border to the area of Tel Safok with the closure of all the gaps used by the terrorist gangs, to prevent any case of infiltration into and from Iraqi territory in addition to preventing smuggling, and in coordination with Air Force and Air Force ".
Last July, the security forces carried out a preemptive operation to hunt down remnants of the terrorist organization and destroy its densely populated areas, making progress in clearing the international border in western Iraq towards Syria, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
The Iraqi army, the popular and tribal factions, supported by the Army Air Force and the International Alliance against Terrorism, periodically and continuously carry out clean-up operations in the Anbar desert, which constitute a vast area of "hideous" elements and their buried underground and valleys.
