The general index of the Iraqi Stock Exchange ended Sunday, the first session of the week, up 0.37%, at 501.76 points, winning 1.84 points, compared to levels of Thursday session.
The performance of the stock exchange was boosted by 13 shares, led by National Bank by 10%, Canadian Vaccines up 8.65% and Gulf Bank up 6.25%.
On the other hand, 4 stocks declined by Al Mamoura Real Estate by 2.23%, tourism investments by 0.74% and Baghdad for public transportation by 0.67%.
The volume of trading today to 417.71 million shares, compared to 375.54 million shares last session, and the value of trading to 208.66 million dinars, compared to 177.64 million dinars in the previous session.
The Middle East Bank was the most heavily traded issue on the day with 233.06 million shares changing hands, while Baghdad's soft drinks volume was KD 48.02 million.
