The leader of the Change Movement of Kurdistan and a member of the Committee on Oil and Gas in the Iraqi parliament Ghalib Mohammed continued the transit and sale of Kirkuk oil to Iran through tanks.
Mohammed said the House of Representatives was following up on the issue.
He pointed out that the US blockade on Iran has not yet affected Iraqi oil and did not create any problems, noting that the bulk of Iraq's oil is exported through its local ports and that the little section issued by Iran by tankers has stopped and Iraq is currently busy sending him Oil pipeline to Turkey.
According to Ghaleb Mohammed, the Iraqi parliament will follow up to make sure that the export operations have stopped or not, as the people of the city do not benefit from that source oil and do not know how to sell, noting that the sale of tanks does not show the quantities of oil exported and sells, Export quantities are shown.
The Iraqi Oil Ministry announced in advance the suspension of the transfer of crude from Kirkuk oil field to Iran, in compliance with sanctions imposed by the United States.
According to the ministry, Iraq exported less than 30 thousand barrels per day of Kirkuk crude to Iran, by trucks.
