Iraq's foreign currency sales fall 4.2 million dollars today

Direct sales of foreign currency in the Central Bank of Iraq, on Tuesday, 178.57 million dollars, compared to sales last session, which amounted to 182.79 million dollars, a decrease of 4.22 million dollars.
According to data from the Central Bank of Iraq, issued today, the exchange rate was 1190 dinars per dollar, in the auction held with the participation of 31 banks, and one financial transfer company only.
The central bank pointed out that those sales executed today are the results of an auction on Wednesday.
The total sales amounted to 202.37 million dollars, compared with 207.3 million dollars in transactions yesterday.
The volume of funds sold to strengthen bank balances abroad amounted to $ 177.77 million and the total cash sold was $ 800,000
The central Iraqi in his statement, that the sale of amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad at the price of 1190 dinars per dollar, while the cash sale will be at the same price.
