Iran plans to send its warships to the Atlantic Ocean

MENAFN Press) The Iranian navy will be heading to the Atlantic Ocean on March 21 for five months, the deputy commander of the Iranian navy said on Friday.
Admiral Hosny Muqaddam confirmed that this group includes the destroyer "Sahand" helicopter carrier as the most developed in the West Asia region.
Muhaddam explained that the destroyer "Sahand" joined two months ago to the South Fleet of the Iranian Navy's Navy, which is more sophisticated compared to the destroyers of the previous generation and the capabilities of the vulnerability of devastating "Jamaran" and not monitored by radars and operates four engines.
He added that the 59 vessels of the Iranian Navy are currently sailing in the Gulf of Aden to ensure the interests of Iran in the Indian Ocean and participate with the rest of the forces deployed there in the security of international maritime navigation as well as the transfer of the message of peace and friendship, adding that the tasks of these pieces will continue until the next two months .
