    The new parliamentary governor of Baghdad, Falah al-Jazairi, is being subjected to extortion and threats by political parties, the bloc of the State of Law coalition led by Nuri al-Maliki said on Thursday, calling on the three presidencies to intervene in this regard.

    It should be noted that the Court of Appeal of Karkh issued a formal book by the performance of Engineer Falah al-Jazairi, the constitutional oath after the expiry of the legal period.

    Local sources were talking about the governor of Baghdad, defeating the election of Fadhil al-Shuwaili, belonging to the Sadrist movement to seize the office of the governor Falah al-Jazairi by force.

"

    The Algerian is close to the pro-Iranian Hezbollah battalions.

    The conflict over the post of governor of Baghdad dates from a coalition of state law led by former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and alliances backed by Sadr's leader Moqtada al-Sadr to 2015, when he dismissed the coalition of conservative law Ali al-Tamimi, supported by Moqtada al-Sadr after questioning.
