The first deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Hassan al-Kaabi, Tuesday, stressed that the Jordanian agreement does not carry only economic dimensions, but is part of the policy.
Al-Kaabi said during a dialogue session to support the national industry, according to a statement by his media office, "Al-Kaabi has chaired a discussion session entitled" Our national industry our pride "to discuss the dimensions of the economic agreement with Jordan, Public and private sectors ".

"The year 2019 will see a real start that is different from previous years in support of the economy, investment and the private sector and the promotion of the important non-oil sectors, especially agriculture and industry, which suffered from great negligence, which resulted in a country depends entirely on oil revenues, In the crystallization of this vision of security and economic crises and lack of resources and returns, and forced those involved in the management of this file to identify the reasons and develop solutions.
He explained that "the partnership between the state and the private sector has become binding on both the government and the House of Representatives, and we have to prepare and prepare projects that deserve this participation and the nomination of investment projects."
The meeting highlighted "the dimensions of the economic agreement signed with the Jordanian side, where al-Kaabi said that" many parties are concerned about this agreement and believe it will negatively affect the economic sectors, especially industry, noting that the new policy of the government also has its objectives and outlined a strategy to harness this economic to achieve the benefits Akbar, including the establishment of a joint industrial city that can absorb thousands of manpower, and move the sectors of transport, communications and taxation, and most importantly create an investment environment in Anbar province, which is currently suffering from a lack of employment opportunities and resources.
