    Baghdad: The Central Bank of Iraq auctioned foreign currency on Thursday more than 137 million dollars. 
    "The total sales today amounted to 137,021,040 dollars, with total sales for the purposes of strengthening overseas assets, remittances and credits, reached 117,261,040 dollars, while total cash sales amounted to 19,760,000 dollars," the central bank said in a statement.

    Foreign currency sales rose Thursday to $ 117.56 million, compared with $ 115.95 million in Wednesday's auction, up 1.61 million dollars, the Central Bank of Iraq said.
