Jubouri reveals waste of 50 billion dinars in the construction of imaginary camps in Beninoy

The MP in the House of Representatives, for Nineveh, Ahmed Jubouri, that there is a great waste of public money by the local government in the province of Nineveh by bypassing the funds allocated to the displaced who are still living in the camps of the provinces of Erbil and Nineveh and other provinces.
"One of the most important reasons for the return of displaced people is the financial corruption that has long been spent on the reconstruction of their areas and the rehabilitation of basic services infrastructure," Jubouri said.
He said that "corruption in the province of Nineveh has caused great harm to hundreds of thousands of displaced people who have not returned to their areas so far."
"The money allocated for stabilizing the province to the extent that displaced people are returned to the areas they fled from the war against the terrorist's supporter amounted to more than 180 billion Iraqi dinars (about 152 million dollars) ), Which were disbursed within the budget of one year only, which is 2018.
In addition to the amounts disbursed to maintain in the budget in 2018, he pointed to "additional amounts, including up to 193 billion Iraqi dinars (approximately 162 million dollars) included in the operating budget of Nineveh province."
He pointed out that "the assistance provided by international donors and relief organizations, as well as the Fund for the reconstruction of liberated areas and other amounts provided by several parties."
According to Jubouri, there are cases of corruption in the province, "responsible for them first and foremost the governor of Nineveh Nofal Alakoub, and those who stood with him in the theft of public money."
He pointed out that the governor of Nineveh "took advantage of the absence of oversight role of the House of Representatives throughout 2018 because of the Council's preoccupation with the legislative elections, and the formation of the government and the circumstances of the war on terrorism."
He warned that "the disbursement of up to 50 billion Iraqi dinars ($ 42 million) on the construction of mock camps in the areas of Zamar, Rabiah and Bartela, did not arise originally, and there is no existence."
"Basman al-Aakoub, a brother of the governor of Nineveh, a partner of Oumar Al-Ammar and Jumeirah, two companies that received a contract worth about 36 billion Iraqi dinars (US $ 30 million) blankets, tents and other items for the three camps in 2017, Originally and does not exist on the ground. "
He repeated, Jabouri, his request from the relevant government authorities to "issue a travel ban for the governor of Nineveh Nofal Alaakoub."
