Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi , on Thursday, that Iraq today is not like yesterday, while he pointed out that Baghdad is receiving delegations of sister and friend continuously. "The Prime Minister received in Jeddah today, the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Youssef al-Othaimeen," 

said a statement by Abdul-Mahdi's office . "Today, Iraq is not the same as yesterday, and Baghdad receives friendly and continuous delegations, and meetings and forums are held, and life is normal and safe," he said.

"The most important thing for us is to work on building and rebuilding Iraq and establishing the best relations with neighboring countries and Arab and Islamic countries. We are serious about implementing the agreements we signed in Saudi Arabia." 

He called on the Prime Minister to "continue to fight extremism and terrorist ideology and to eradicate it for the security of our countries and peoples." 

For his part, congratulated the Secretary-General of the organization "to form a government and the success of its orientation and policy in opening up to the Arab and Islamic environment, and to the stability of Iraq after the victory over the preacher who insulted Islam and Muslims.

Al-Othaimeen confirmed that "Iraq is an institution and we rely heavily on its role and its history and cultural depth, and we are pleased with its stability and prosperity, and we will spare no effort in supporting it to take the place it deserves."
