Parliament shows the fact of voting on a decision regarding the retirement of its members

[Asharq Al-Awsat] The Iraqi parliament has denied voting on pension rights for parliamentarians.
"Some media and social networking sites circulated on Thursday 13-6-2019, news of the House of Representatives vote on a decision on the pension rights of the members of the Council at its meeting today," a statement to the parliament's media said.
The statement also rejected "the vote on the resolution and the assertion that this information is unfounded and falls within the framework of the frantic campaign to target the legislative authority, which is fulfilling its duty."
