BAGHDAD: Sumer News accused the leader of the coalition of state law Jassim al-Bayati, on Sunday, the US ambassador in Baghdad, stirring differences between the political blocs and blatant interference in Iraq, calling on the Iraqi government to hand over Washington a protest note on the work of its ambassador in Iraq. Al-Bayati said in a press statement that "the US ambassador in Iraq works outside the diplomatic framework as ambassador and often produces provocative statements." He added that "the ambassador is sometimes working to raise differences between the blocks and violate the sovereignty of Iraq in its movements and meetings without the knowledge of the central government," noting that "the work of the ambassador must be within the limits of certain diplomacy." Al-Bayati called on the central government to "hand over to Washington a formal protest note on its interference in Iraq, its violation of its sovereignty and the work of its ambassador in the country[/size]
