Barzani: Talks with Baghdad will focus on the budget file

The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), led by Massoud [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] , said that talks with [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/2081/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AD%D9%83%D9%88%D9%85%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A7%D8%AA%D8%AD%D8%A7%D8%AF%D9%8A%D8%A9]the federal government[/url] will focus on the public budget file, pointing out that the problem of sovereign expenditures is the main obstacle to the adoption of the law.
The head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party bloc Fian Sabri said in a press statement: "The general policy, after the formation of the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Regional Government and the nomination of Masroor [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] as its president, is moving towards the settlement of differences with [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ."
Sabri added: "The initiatives have begun in earnest to settle all outstanding issues between the governments of the Center and the region, specifically the subjects of the federal budget, salaries of employees, oil exports, the disputed areas provided for in Article 140 of the Constitution, and border points."
She pointed out: "The hope is to reach a formula of solution that satisfies all parties, be in accordance with constitutional mechanisms and achieve social justice."
