The first deputy speaker of the House of Representatives Hassan Karim al-Kaabi, on Sunday, the existence of governmental and non-governmental institutions stand against the closure of the file of the return of displaced people for reasons that they believe are real, but in fact the opposite.
Al-Kaabi said in a statement that "the first deputy speaker of parliament chaired today, the discussion session to discuss the obstacles to the return of displaced people in a number of areas in coordination with the Babel Babel Organization for Media Development and the German government research center."
"We cannot accept that the IDPs file is subject to political and media abuse," he said. Above all, and that everyone has a certain amount of responsibility to deal with it in a thoughtful manner and insist on closing the file within a maximum of the end of this year. "
He pointed out that "the purpose of this session is to listen to all the views proved by the operational experiences of the relevant authorities over the past years, and to reach practical formulas different from what was done previously and to identify the real reasons for the return of displaced people and find solutions to them."
Al-Kaabi called on the Ministry of Immigration and the Ministry of Finance to "expedite the launch of the return grant allocations in order to encourage families to return and help them integrate into society."
