The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, on Wednesday, called on the three authorities and political forces to take responsibility to meet the demands of the demonstrators.
Hakim said after meeting British Ambassador to Iraq John Wilkes, in a statement received (Mawazine News): "We confirmed that the demonstrations are a constitutional and legal right is one of the components of the democratic system and the most important tools to correct the course, and the security services have a responsibility to maintain the security of demonstrators and property Public and private prosecution of those who abuse peaceful demonstrations. "
He added: "We have renewed our call to achieve the just demands of citizens and assume everyone's responsibilities from the government and the House of Representatives and the judiciary and political forces," adding: "We also called during the British Ambassador in Baghdad," John Wilkes "to maintain bilateral relations between Iraq and the United Kingdom to serve the interests of all. ".
