The MP for the Alliance of the Star Alliance Jabbar al-Atabi, on Monday, that there is no use of the meetings of the House of Representatives without the presence of Prime Minister [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] , pointing out that the sessions will not bear fruit.
Al-Atabi said in a statement to the information, that "the Alliance is going to convene permanent sessions of the House of Representatives provided either the resignation of the Prime Minister or questioned to proceed with other paragraphs," saying that "the convening of the House of Representatives without the presence of Abdul-Mahdi will not bear fruit."
He added that his coalition "does not want to start discussing secondary topics away from the questioning of the Prime Minister and this is our basic demand," pointing out that "calls for a meeting of the House of Representatives away from the demands of the demonstrators are useless."
