Wadih al-Handal: The banking sector will contribute to financing the projects of the liberated areas

The President of the Association of Iraqi Private Banks, Wadih al-Handal, announced the plan of the Iraqi banking sector for the next stage, noting that he will participate in financing small, medium and large projects in the liberated spokesman in accordance with the Council of Ministers Resolution No. 245 of 2019.
Al-Handal said in a speech on the sidelines of the Nineveh Investment Forum, which was attended by Al-Iqtisadiah News, that the Egyptian sector will contribute effectively in financing small, medium and large projects as well as participation with the private real estate, agricultural and industrial sectors in accordance with the Cabinet's decision 245 of 2019 and the approval of the President. Council of Ministers on the recommendation of the Council of Advisors on the financing of small and medium enterprises. "

Al-Handal revealed the most prominent activities of the Association of Private Banks in Nineveh Governorate in cooperation with the "Tamkeen" Fund, saying that "one billion dinars has been allocated to grant loans to 200 small projects without interest and an appropriate repayment period, in addition to the support of our organization to care for displaced people headed by UNESCO artist peace musician Naseer Shamma ".
