During 2019..Iraq produces five million tons of cement, with revenues exceeding 160 billion

The Iraqi General Cement Company, a company of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, announced on Sunday that it has achieved revenues exceeding (160) billion dinars in production quantities that exceeded (5) million tons during this year.
The general manager of the company, Hussein Mohsen Al-Khafaji, said in a statement that she received / the information: “These checks are a productive and marketing boom if compared to the past year as a result of the studied and systematic plans of the company in rehabilitating and maintaining its factories and returning more than two-thirds of its destroyed factories in the liberated governorates to service with efforts and self-capabilities. ”
Al-Khafaji added, “The highest rates of verification were for the Hadba Cement Factory, which reached (2194%) after the factory was under qualification in the past year and produced (1595) tons and its production increased during this year to reach (36594) tons, followed by the Rafidain Cement Factory with a percentage ( 196%) and Najaf Cement Factory (80%) compared to last year.
The general manager pointed out that "the prices of ordinary and resistant cement in the company's factories are considered competitive, as the price per ton does not exceed more than (70) thousand dinars at all its factories distributed throughout [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ," noting that "the company also produces non-standard and representative cement." With cement for oil wells and cement for filling dams in the Babylon and Hadbaa factories. The company has prepared these types of cement to the oil companies and the Italian company in charge of maintaining the foundations of the Mosul Dam.
