Al-Tamimi: The new election law is totally rejected, for this reason

Activist and political analyst, Dr. Mazen Al-Tamimi, said that Iraqis reject the election law recently passed by parliament, because it was detailed on the sizes of the major parties that dominate the political process.
The political analyst added, in statements to him, that the amendment of the election law was a cosmetic process for this law, because it divided the single electoral district into several districts, and in fact this prevents the presence of national forces from winning the elections.
He added: “The Iraqi nationalists reject the political process and the election law, because it is a null process and everything related to it is illegal, because it was born from the womb of the occupier and what is built on falsehood is void.”
He continued: “Therefore, there is no room for individuals to run and win the elections, and how is the competition between parties that have militias, funds, support and power and between an individual who seeks to run in elections and win them while he does not have the authority or money and competes with these militias supported by Iran.”
The Iraqi political analyst stressed that the people rejected this law altogether and in detail, because it differs from the previous law, adding, “The same blocs and political parties will dominate the Iraqi arena even if new elections are held, and if they produce new faces, they will not be able to change, among the parties and militias supported by Iran.” , Along with corrupt politicians involved in a corrupt political process.
