The Director General of the Department of Branches Affairs at the ministry, Ali Abbas, in a statement: " The Anbar province topped the most received the list of provinces for returnees during the year 2019, which saw the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] of (89.224) thousand families returning to their areas in all districts of the province, followed by Salah al - Din province , the return of (61,055) thousand families, while Nineveh Governorate ranked third in terms of the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] of (44,383) thousand returning families to their liberated areas.
Abbas added: “The number of returnees to Kirkuk Governorate reached (19,132) thousand families, and to Diyala Governorate, the number of families returning to them reached (13,926) thousand families. The areas of the outskirts of Baghdad appended the list of returnees (3,420) thousand returning families.”
