    A spokesman for the media office of Sheikh Qasim Al-Taie announced on Saturday that Sheikh Al-Taie is studying the possibility of running for prime minister.
    "The Sheikh received many demands from the demonstrators for candidacy for the post, especially by demonstrators in Dhi Qar Governorate, during which they expressed their confidence in the Sheikh's tolerance and his ability to pull the country out of the current reality," the spokesman said in a statement.
    He added, "Sheikh Al-Taie has a complete program for this mission that includes eliminating corruption and bringing all the corrupt from 2003 until now to trial, no matter how big or small they are."
    He continued that "the reference authority, he believes that there is a possibility that Iraq will return, if there is serious, sincere and just leadership and has the ability to invest the wealth of Iraq for its people, not for its politicians."
