Member of Parliament, Al-Fateh Haneen Qadu, revealed the intention to submit a request to the Presidency of Parliament today to obtain a vote in the House of Representatives regarding granting authority to the government of Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi to pass and send the federal budget bill for 2020.
Qaddo told Al-Mirbad that this request from the parliament’s presidency comes because the current Iraqi government does not have the authority to send the budget as a caretaker government and that re-granting authority to it will contribute to sending the budget bill to the Finance Committee in order to study it in preparation for its legislation and start strategic projects and complete the rest of the projects and launch grades Functional.
