, Member of Parliament, Ali al-Aboudi, confirmed on Tuesday that political forces have given Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Allawi the green light to choose his ministers.
Al-Aboudi said, "There are sound intentions of some political forces in granting the prime minister-designate a wide area of work and not adopting cultures that have some kind of (demonization) like the minister is yours and the ministry is ours."
He added that "there are frequent meetings of the Prime Minister-designate with the leaders of the political forces and deputies who signed him to find personalities that could form the government booth."
For his part, Representative Abbas Sarout said, "Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi has a movement towards all political blocs and some independents to discuss the choice of ministers for his cabinet." And the government program for it, "explaining that" the Shiite component blocs gave (the green light) to Allawi regarding the selection of independent ministers from outside the parties. "
In the same context, MP Ahmad al-Mashhadani stressed that "Muhammad Allawi must name a cabinet cabinet of independents, professionals and competencies to be able to comply with the legitimate demands of the demonstrators and achieve an important part of communication with the people, away from political pressures."
And al-Mashhadani said, "One of the most important priorities that must be present in the designation of the cabinet is independence, away from partisanship and affiliations, so looking at the mass demands will be among the priorities and sensitive points that the prime minister-designate will deal with."
