[size=18]On Sunday, the Federal Supreme Court heard a case against a minister and director of a directorate in the Kurdistan Regional Government, noting that its jurisdiction is to decide in violation of laws to the constitution, and laws do not contradict each other.

"The Supreme Federal Court held a session headed by Judge Medhat Al-Mahmoud and the presence of all the member judges, and the plaintiff’s case was heard in it by the Minister of Trade and Industry of the Kurdistan Region and the director of the Trademark Directorate in Kurdistan Region / Addition to their job.

The Samuk added, "The plaintiff requested the ruling of the illegality and legality of the registration works for the trademarks that the defendant conducts for violating the provisions of the Trademarks and Commercial Data Law No. (31) of 1957 as amended."

He pointed out that "the court used the statements of the parties to the lawsuit, and found that its competencies are defined in Article (93) of the Constitution and Article (4) of its Law No. (30) of 2005, by considering the appeals raised regarding the violation of laws to the constitution and not appeals raised by violating the laws of each other." ".

And Samok stated that "the Federal Supreme Court, based on the foregoing, decided to dismiss the lawsuit from the jurisdiction."
