Parliamentary Finance: Border outlets revenues fill the budget deficit ... if it were not for corruption

Member of Parliamentary Finance Committee MP Jamal Cougar stressed: "The revenues [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/7397/%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D9%86%D8%A7%D9%81%D8%B0 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AD%D8%AF%D9%88%D8%AF%D9%8A%D8%A9]of the border outlets[/url] could fill the budget deficit if they were used correctly, away from [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ."
Cougar said in a press statement: "There is great corruption in the border outlets, especially since the government said that closing one of the outlets cost the state losses of 6 billion dollars, while it says that the resources from all the outlets at the level of Iraq annually amount to 10 billion dollars."
He added: "If we restructure the border outlets, it will be possible to bridge a large percentage of the deficit because a lot of money will enter the state."
