The Great American Strike .. American fire burns the Iraqi Hezbollah

The United States has carried out intense strikes on the sites of the Iraqi Hezbollah movement, which is part of the Hashd militia forces and is considered an ally of Iran.
This shelling resulted in 30 dead and 90 wounded, a preliminary outcome of the operations, the most important of which is in the Jurf al-Sakhr area of Babil Governorate, while the sky of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, witnessed an intense flight of the American air force.
Iranian activists on social media said that the general in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Siamand Mashhadi, was killed in the bombing by American planes in Iraq.
According to the Pentagon, the sites that were targeted by the strikes included weapons used to target US and coalition forces, and were carried out by military fighters rather than drones.
An airport under construction in Karbala was also bombed, and one of its workers was killed, according to the airport's media director.
The last bombing targeted the headquarters of the militia of the Hashd in Wasit governorate, and American aircraft launched a bombardment of Al-Hery, a part of the Syrian Albukamal area, adjacent to the Al-Qa’im border district.
The American bombing came the day after the launch of thirty missiles, on Wednesday evening, on the Taji base in the outskirts of Baghdad, which includes elements of the international coalition to fight ISIS, killing two American and British soldiers, in addition to the fall of 14 wounded Americans, British and Polish and other nationalities, five of them In critical condition.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack on the Taji base, but the finger of accusation referred to the “Hezbollah Brigades,” also known as the 45th Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces.
The American government held Iran responsible for masterminding this attack, and made it clear that the strikes it described as defensive and accurate were directed against Hezbollah Brigade facilities throughout Iraq.
She added: These strikes targeted five weapons storage facilities to significantly reduce their ability to launch future attacks against coalition forces for the inherent determination process.
And she added: These terrorist groups must stop their attacks against the American forces and those affiliated with the coalition, otherwise they will have to bear the consequences, at the time and place that we choose.
These strikes were defensive, she added, and represent a direct and proportionate response to the threat posed by pro-Iranian Shiite armed groups that continue to attack bases hosting the coalition forces.
For his part, British Foreign Secretary Dominic Rapp has vowed to anyone seeking to harm the coalition forces with a strong response.
