    {Baghdad: Al Furat News} The Central Bank of Iraq decided to exempt merchants, business owners and citizens from the commission of using POS for a period of 6 months.
    A statement of the bank stated, "The Euphrates News Agency" received a copy of it, "In support of the current stage in the country and an encouragement to use electronic payment tools, the Central Bank of Iraq decided to make commissions on the" merchant and citizen "when using the point of sale devices (zero) for a period of six months and starting this day March 17, 2020 ".
    "While this bank appreciates the initiative of licensed payment service providers to contribute to supporting and providing financial and banking products and services, he calls them to the necessity of encouraging merchants to use electronic payment tools through (adopting the incentive system, facilitating the granting of credit, encouragement and support during the increase in the use of cards or Electronic portfolios).
    And he continued, "The Central Bank of Iraq had previously issued an invitation to use electronic payment tools in financial transactions and reduce cash transactions in order to preserve public health."

    The Central Bank of Iraq announced, on Tuesday, that it excludes merchants, business owners and citizens from the commission of using points of sale for a period of 6 months.
    The bank said in a statement, "Economy News" received a copy of it, that "regarding the call to use electronic payment tools in financial transactions and avoid dealing with cash in order to preserve public health, the commissions on citizens and merchants when using POS devices will be zero for a period of 6 months starting from 17 This March.
     
    The bank called "all banks the need to contribute effectively to support the current stage by providing financial and banking products and services to encourage different groups of society to use electronic payment tools."
