    [size=45]The American Embassy in Baghdad issued a security alert to the citizens of the United States in Iraq, while announcing the suspension of the US Consulate General in Erbil, all visa services.
    [size=45]"As of March 19, 2020, the US Consulate General in Erbil has suspended all visa-granting services in Erbil, so that applicants can reschedule their appointments in Erbil via the Internet until later dates," the embassy said in a statement.[/size]
    [size=45]She explained, "Please note that the United States embassy in Baghdad is still closed to serve the auditors, so that US citizens in the Kurdistan region of Iraq who need emergency services can communicate via e-mail."[/size]
