    Economy News - Baghdad
On Thursday, the Finance Committee announced that the 2021 budget will include more than 230,000 job grades.
Committee member Naji Al-Saeedi said in a statement reported by the official news agency "INA" and reviewed by "Al-Iktissad News", that "more than 230 thousand job degrees were expected to be launched within the 2020 budget, but the decline in oil prices caused disruption."
He added that "job grades will be included in the draft federal budget law for 2021 in the event that a financial allocation is available for them."
Al-Saeedi pointed out that "the rise in oil prices has a slight effect on the government's revenues," noting that "the quantities that have been reduced from oil have reached approximately one million barrels per month."
The number of unemployed people in Iraq is estimated at 4 million, 1.4 million of whom are registered in the database of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
The number of foreign workers in Iraq is 300,000, most of them in the oil sector, hotels, tourist areas and malls.
