Democrat accuses political forces of obstructing the passage of the budget

On Saturday, a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Najeeba Najib, accused political parties of seeking to block the passage of the budget law for the current year 2021.
Najeeb said in a statement to / the information / that "political forces within the House of Representatives seek to block the passage of the current budget law for the current year 2021 and are trying in any way not to reach solutions.
He added that "the political blocs are trying to close any way to solve the financial, economic and political crises between the governments of Erbil and Baghdad," indicating that "the budget can not be passed in any way except after the agreement and its declaration between the Kurdistan region and the federal government."
The Speaker of Parliament Muhammad al-Halbousi confirmed earlier that the budget bill will be within the coming days within the parliament’s agenda to vote on it. Ended / 25 D.
