Deputy head of the Arab Front in Kirkuk, Nazem al-Shammari, considered, on Wednesday, that the movements of American forces and their presence in [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] were illegal.
Al-Shammari told Al-Maalouma agency that "America is not the decision-maker for [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] who are in Kirkuk , because it is basically illegal after the parliament voted on the decision to remove it."
He added that "Kurdistan depends on America in the issue of returning the Peshmerga forces to Kirkuk, and we demand an end to these statements, which are considered a blatant interference in the Iraqi affairs and the country's sovereignty, and also that the American forces' movements in the Kurdistan region be with the knowledge of the federal government."
The representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government in the joint operations room, Abd al-Khaliq Talaat, had indicated an American desire to return the Peshmerga forces to Kirkuk and the rest of the disputed areas. End / 25 p
