(Baghdad: Al Furat News) Today, Saturday, the Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of one person accused of electronic extortion and another of promoting counterfeit currency in the capital, Baghdad.

In a statement, the Euphrates News received a copy of it, the ministry stated, "A force from the Karrada crime-fighting office managed to arrest a suspect who had blackmailed a girl electronically through social media programs (Facebook) and (WhatsApp), where he threatened the girl with publishing her photos unless You pay him an amount of money in exchange for deleting the pictures and not defaming them. "
On the other hand, the statement added, "Detachments of the Freedom Crime Office arrested a suspect who was found in possession of a counterfeit currency of US $ 100 denomination, as the arrest took place after information was available about the accused for promoting the counterfeit currency, and he was arrested with the flagrante delicto." .
