On Wednesday, the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded to the leader of the Azm coalition, Khamis Al-Khanjar, who said in a televised interview that he is transmitting government messages to neighboring countries, stressing that it "is the one who plays the role of relations with countries and not any other party."

Al-Khanjar said in a televised interview with journalist Ahmed Mulla Talal, broadcast by UTV, that he is transmitting government messages to neighboring countries.

"I am conveying government messages to Turkey and some Arab countries," he said, referring to a diplomatic role to play.

Al-Khanjar does not have any official capacity to play this role, which required a quick response from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In response to Al-Khanjar, ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahhaf said in a statement that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs "is the one who plays the role of relations with states and not any other party."

He emphasized that "the dialogues that took place at the regional level took place through the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in implementation of the government's directives, and no other party was involved in that."

It is rumored that the dagger is associated with undeclared interests with some Turkish parties, which have always left question marks due to their interference with political interests.
