Baghdad - Mawazine News,
a member of the Parliamentary Foreign Relations Committee, Mukhtar Al-Mousawi revealed, on Wednesday, the purpose of the visit of Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman to Iraq.
Mousawi said in a radio interview, "It is likely that the visit of the Saudi Deputy Defense Minister and his meeting with Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi came to bring points of view between Iran and Riyadh closer."
He added, "If this visit is in the interest of converging views between the two neighboring countries, then it is welcome. But if it is related to security, then the Saudi authorities must first end the sectarian fatwas that appear from time to time on their channels."
