    Today, Tuesday, the Supreme Judicial Council issued a new clarification regarding the unified retirement law.


    The media center of the council stated in a statement received by Alsumaria News, that "regarding what the media circulated about the retired segment and the mechanism of their inclusion in Article (13) of the Unified Retirement Law No. (9) of 2014 amended by Law No. (26) of 2019 or not, the "validity of Legislation and the amendment of laws is within the competence of the House of Representatives, and all government institutions and stakeholders are obligated to clearly implement what the law stipulates.






    He clarified that “Article (18) of [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/1611501232/%D9%82%D8%A7%D9%86%D9%88%D9%86 %D8%AA%D8%B9%D8%AF%D9%8A%D9%84 %D9%82%D8%A7%D9%86%D9%88%D9%86 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AA%D9%82%D8%A7%D8%B9%D8%AF %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D9%88%D8%AD%D8%AF/ar/]Unified Retirement Law Amendment Law[/url] No. (26) of 2019 stipulated that (this law shall be implemented from the date of 12/31/2019 and published in the Official Gazette), that is, it shall apply only to those who were retired after the mentioned date.

    He continued, "Because Article (13) stipulated, before it was amended by Law No. (26) by the House of Representatives, that an employee who was dismissed from a job, dismissed, or left service, or who submitted his resignation, shall have a pension service of not less than (20 years) and that His age is not less than (50 years), and after the issuance of Law (26) of 2019 the Law of the First Amendment to the Unified Pension Law, the text of Article (13) of the law has been amended, to become a requirement in granting the employee a pension that he has a pension service of no less than (15) ) A year and an age of not less than (45) years, provided that this amendment applies to those referred to retirement after 12/31/2019 based on the text of Article (18) of the law, except in the case of death after 1/1/2014 and the end-of-service gratuity, then it applies Retroactively based on Article (21/Ninth/B) of [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/1611501232/%D9%82%D8%A7%D9%86%D9%88%D9%86 %D8%AA%D8%B9%D8%AF%D9%8A%D9%84 %D9%82%D8%A7%D9%86%D9%88%D9%86 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AA%D9%82%D8%A7%D8%B9%D8%AF %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D9%88%D8%AD%D8%AF/ar/]Unified Retirement Law Amendment Law[/url]".
