    The Executive Director of the Russian-Iraqi Business Council, Maxim Malarguk, confirmed today, Monday, September 30, 2024, that progress has been made in the energy sector in the Kurdistan Region, pointing to work to remove obstacles facing cooperation between Russian businessmen and the region.[/size]
    [size=45]Maxim Malarjuk said in a statement: “Russia has large investments in the energy sector in the Kurdistan Region,” stressing that “their visit to the region aims to enhance direct communication between Russian businessmen and their counterparts in Kurdistan.”[/size]
    [size=45]Malarjuk stressed the “necessity of removing the obstacles that hinder trade relations between Russia and the Kurdistan Region,” adding that “the energy sector in the Kurdistan Region is witnessing activity from two major Russian companies, Rosneft and Gazprom, which operate in the region.”[/size]
