Al-Kazemi: There are billions of dollars that the corrupt have smuggled out of Iraq before and after 2003
Al-Kazemi said in a speech during the regular session of the Council of Ministers: Yesterday, we attended a conference to recover the looted funds from Iraq abroad, and we saw Arab and international seriousness in working to help Iraq recover these funds.
He added that there are billions of dollars smuggled by the corrupt before and after 2003, and it is a right of the Iraqis, and we will recover these rights in full.
He stressed that there is no controversy or favoritism in the rights of Iraqis and the people's money, and that the corrupt must be certain that the law will pursue them.
On his recent visit to Iran, the Prime Minister said: A few days ago, we visited the Islamic Republic of Iran, and held talks with President Ibrahim Raisi and a number of leaders, and the discussions were fruitful.
He continued by saying: We have strong historical relations with Iran in all fields, and we agreed to expand trade and economic exchange between the two countries.
