    {Economist: Al Furat News} Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar touched on today, Sunday, talk about the current oil markets, stressing that the high price of black gold will not last.
    Abdul-Jabbar said in a press statement that "the price of 100 dollars a barrel will not be sustainable for the oil markets."
    The Minister of Oil also chaired a meeting to follow up on the implementation plans of the Karbala oil refinery project and the progress of the ongoing work by a coalition of Korean companies.
    The Minister of Oil stressed the importance of expediting the implementation of the complementary works of the project in accordance with the ministry's plans, compensating for the period of forced stops, due to the repercussions of "Covid 19", and overcoming all technical and administrative obstacles, in order to reach the scheduled dates.
    The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary for Distribution Affairs Hamid Younis, the General Manager of Al Wasat Refineries Company, the General Manager of the Technical Department, and a number of officials in the joint management of the project.
