The leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Ghiath al-Sorji, revealed ongoing friendly meetings between the Patriotic Union and the Kurdistan Democratic Party.
Al-Sorji said in an exclusive interview with Mawazine News that, "So far, there is no agreement or official meeting between the National Union and the Democratic Party to agree on forming an alliance or a single bloc," noting that "the current meetings are friendly and did not address the bloc, but there is a rapprochement in the destinations."
