Today, Tuesday, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Iraqi Media Network, Jaafar Al-Wanan, called for a "major process" for political and economic reform in the country to achieve the aspirations of the Iraqi street.
Al-Weonan said, in a speech during the celebration of the centenary of the Iraqi state, which was held by the Ministry of Justice today, and attended by the correspondent of the "National News Center", that "the Iraqi state was born five thousand years before BC, and that pride in civilization and history is not enough for it." And he indicated that "the Iraqis are looking forward to a major reform of the political and economic system in the country that will meet their needs," stressing that "the Iraqi citizen deserves to live as the Saudis, Kuwaitis and Emiratis live in luxury and an easy life."
Al-Wanan indicated during his speech, that "the Iraqi state is recovering through national industry, agriculture and investment with a mature planning vision and rational and conscious management."

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees stressed, “The mission of statesmen differs from the task of men of authority, as the first type thinks that Iraq will match the countries of the region in development and economy, achieving prosperity and happiness for society and providing basic services to it such as education, health, roads and bridges, youth development, talent care and support Sports, while the men of power think of staying in their positions for a longer period of time in the absence of a practical and realistic vision.”
