    Mubasher: The Iraqi Minister of Communications, Arkan Al-Shaibani, said today, Wednesday, that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi directed to provide services to citizens for the last day of the government’s life.

    The minister indicated, according to the Iraqi News Agency, "conscious" that the Council of Ministers approved the strategy of administrative reform in government departments.
    Al-Shaibani said, "The Council decided to take over the Ministry of Oil to prepare and financially support the project of implementing the transmission lines of the Rumaila Investment Station, Dhi Qar Station, Al-Faw Station, East Basra Gas Station, Al-Haritha Thermal Station and Al-Qurna Station, from the Ministry of Finance."
    He added, "The Council of Ministers decided to endorse the recommendation of the Ministerial Council for Human Development 14 of 2020-2021 regarding the approval of the administrative reform strategy in government departments prepared by the relevant committee to prepare a strategic plan for administrative reforms in all government departments and simplify procedures in those departments that affect people's lives."
    He stressed that "this decision will serve as a roadmap to facilitate procedures," noting that "it was approved to exclude the Ministry of Finance from contracting methods for the purpose of establishing an Iraqi-Turkish water research center, and it will be the nucleus of a future regional research center."
    He added, "It was decided to adopt the financing structure for the Dhi Qar Refinery investment project, according to what was stated in the Ministry of Oil's book, and to authorize the companies of the Ministry of Oil to complete contracting procedures and grant the necessary licenses and approvals to start implementing the aforementioned project."
