    {Economic: Al Furat News} The representative of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Jamal Cougar, said that the new government has three options regarding the draft federal financial budget law for 2022.
    Cougar told {Euphrates News}: "The approval of the budget for the year 2022 depends on the duration of forming the government and the time it takes."
    He added, "We expect that once the government is formed, the budget law will be approved."
    And Cougar: "The government has 3 options regarding the 2022 budget, either to adopt the budget prepared by the previous government, or to make some amendments, and the second option is to change the draft budget law."
    He added, "The third option, if the formation of the government is delayed and the budget is not approved, the exchange will continue from 1/12 according to the Financial Management Law."
    The Prime Minister’s advisor for economic affairs, Mazhar Muhammad Salih, revealed on the first of last December, the preparation of a budget that he described as “precautionary” for the year 2022, pointing to “the possibility of adopting the new budget on borrowing.” 
    Saleh said that "the draft 2022 budget is ready, and for the first time it contains a clear plan for investment projects and built for a period of three years, and each of these three years includes allocations so that there is no commitment and delay," revealing that "the 2022 budget was built on the basis of an oil price of 50 Dollars per barrel, although the current oil prices have risen to 80 dollars per barrel.
