    [size=45]The Administrative Undersecretary of the Ministry of Migration and Displacement, Dr. Karim Al-Nouri, received today, Sunday, the country director of the German Development Bank in Iraq, Dr. Anna Christine, and the Director of the Transition and Return Unit at the International Organization for Migration ( IOM ), Ms. Clementina Faveig, and the accompanying delegation, in the presence of the Director General of the Branch Affairs Department Ali Abbas Jahakir, at the ministry's headquarters in the center of the capital, Baghdad.[/size]
     
    [size=45]Al-Nouri stated that “the ministry deals with its care groups most of the time, especially in the outbreak of crises, as the ministry included the displaced people living in the camps during the cold wave that the country is going through with relief aid and white oil, as well as the role of international donor organizations to provide the necessary support to those families.”[/size]
    [size=45]The attendees pointed out that the German government is interested in the issue of displacement and migration in Iraq, and that it seeks to solve the basic problems of migration by supporting young people with reconstruction and rehabilitation projects funded by the German Development Bank and the International Organization for Migration, in addition to establishing cash-for-work projects and a livelihood assistance project. The program included the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Fund, as well as the rehabilitation of the infrastructure of the economic zones in the liberated cities.[/size]
     
    [size=45]Al-Nouri added that “the ministry’s work with partner organizations includes the requirements to work on the success of these projects and to choose the project according to the requirements and needs of the region, with the selection of the groups and people involved in the project, as well as the follow-up and evaluation of the implementation of the projects to know the extent of their effectiveness and impact on the community, noting that the organizations have International has a large and active role in helping the ministry’s care groups, and we hope to develop this interaction with partner organizations to turn the page on displacement and close all camps, and that the ministry, in turn, provides all facilities to the organization in supporting the displaced.”[/size]
    [size=45]For her part, Dr. Anna praised the ministry’s role and cooperation in facilitating the work of organizations in providing services to the displaced and returnees alike by providing the ministry with important information, indicating that the main objective of the program is to create job opportunities for returnees or expand projects for the displaced and returnees, including the reconstruction of areas Edited.[/size]
