    Today, Friday, the Governor of the Central Bank, Mustafa Ghaleb Mokhif, set the goal of his visit to Najaf, noting that the “Tamkeen” Community Initiatives Fund will implement a number of urban projects.
    A statement by the Central Bank, received by Al-Maalouma Agency, stated that "Makhif confirmed that the "Tamkeen" Community Initiatives Fund will implement a number of urban projects in the old city of Najaf Governorate."
    The statement added, "Makhif, at the head of a delegation comprising the Association of Iraqi Private Banks and the Engineering Department of the Tamkeen Fund, began his tour in Najaf Governorate, and was received by its Governor, Majid Al-Waeli, to discuss the proposed projects to be implemented in the old city."
    The statement quoted Mokhif as saying, "Our visits today to Najaf aim to rehabilitate some important streets in the old city, similar to Al-Mutanabi Street, which was rehabilitated from the Initiative Fund," noting that "this fund aims to put its fingerprints in all governorates from the south to The North did not exclude any city,” stressing that “the importance and specificity of the city of Najaf will be embodied in our clear and distinguished role in the coming days, in addition to the government’s approach to the reconstruction and development of the city.”
    The statement continued, "A thousand flights were delivered as part of a first meal to the Najaf Governorate Education Directorate, to be distributed to the governorate's schools in support of the educational process." End / 25
