, the Ministry of Finance confirmed, on Monday, that the change in the dollar exchange rate played a limited role in the increase in the prices of commodities and foodstuffs.
The ministry stated in an infographic published on its page, that "the change in the dollar exchange rate that took place previously had a limited impact on the rise of commodities and foodstuffs."
She added, "Other factors played a greater role in raising prices, including logistical disturbances and the rise in the prices of minerals and raw materials in global markets."
