Today, Saturday, Iraq and the United States signed a memorandum of understanding related to the water file in Iraq.
On the sidelines of the Second International Water Conference in Baghdad, Minister of Water Resources Mahdi Rashid Al-Hamdani signed with the US Ambassador a memorandum of understanding to develop and support the decision to plan for water resources in Iraq.
The memorandum is related to the topic of exchanging experiences, overcoming water scarcity, sustaining surface and ground water, preserving biodiversity, and developing water policy in line with climatic developments in the world.
