    Today, Tuesday, the Governor of Baghdad, Muhammad Jaber Al-Atta, set the date for the end of the implementation of the emergency line project to eliminate water scarcity in the Nahrawan area, while noting that the high prices affected the implementation of the project.
    Al-Atta said in an interview with the Iraqi News Agency and followed by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "work on the emergency line project to end the water scarcity crisis in the Nahrawan region is continuing, and the date for its completion has been set at 120 days," noting that "we are trying to complete the project before the end of the specified period."
    He added that "the high prices of imported materials affected the work, and this problem may delay the completion quickly," noting that "we are trying with great efforts to complete the implementation of the project within 120 days."
    "The completion of this line will greatly solve the water scarcity crisis in the Nahrawan region," he stressed.
    And the governor of Baghdad, Muhammad Jaber Al-Atta, announced, earlier, the start of the implementation of the emergency line project in the Nahrawan area.
    Al-Atta said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the first phase of the emergency line was initiated to eliminate water scarcity in the Nahrawan region, which includes extending water pipes with a diameter of 800 mm," noting that "this line is exceptional, extending from the Tigris River." All the way to Lake Nahrawan at the intersection of April 9.
    He added that "the line will address the water scarcity crisis in the Nahrawan area in the Mada'in district, to be completed within the period pledged by the Baghdad Governorate within 120 days with standard technical specifications," noting that "the project has special follow-up from the Baghdad Governorate, the supervision of the Council of Ministers, and the implementation of the Governorate Water Directorate." Baghdad".
    He stressed that "Baghdad governorate has completed all the procedures related to the project, with the addition of other efforts from the directors of municipalities and the Baghdad governorate sewers, so that it can be completed in record time and end the problem of water scarcity in the region."
